SimpleVideo provides a public website on simplevideo.eu and a separate product app on app.simplevideo.eu. This privacy summary explains how those surfaces handle basic technical, account, and support data when you browse the website or use the service.
Website data
The public website is a static site. Basic server and CDN logs may still record standard operational data such as IP address, user agent, request path, and timestamp to keep the service available and secure.
The website launch does not depend on a marketing automation stack, newsletter system, or a broad analytics platform. If lightweight analytics are added later, this page should be updated before that rollout.
Account and product data
When you create an account or work inside the product app, SimpleVideo processes the information required to run the service, including account identity data, organisation membership, uploaded video records, processing state, and embed-related player settings.
Uploaded videos are handled so they can be processed and delivered through the SimpleVideo product workflow. The customer-facing promise remains simple EU-hosted video delivery rather than exposing raw storage or encoding internals in the user experience.
Support and service communications
Product-critical emails such as confirmation, reset, invite, and account-security messages are sent as transactional service communications. These are part of operating the account and are not optional marketing mail.
Embedded playback
When a website embeds a SimpleVideo player, operational request data may be processed to deliver playback, protect the service, and troubleshoot failures. This includes standard web-request information and playback-related asset requests needed to load the player and video.
