Getting started with SimpleVideo

Upload your first video, review the default player settings, and copy the embed snippet ready to paste into your website.

Before you begin

You will need a SimpleVideo account. If you do not have one yet, sign up at SimpleVideo.EU and choose a plan or start with a free trial. Once your account is active, you are ready to upload.

Step 1 - Upload your video

From the dashboard, click Upload and select your video file. SimpleVideo accepts MP4, MOV, WebM, and most other common formats. The file is processed in the background, so you can move on while transcoding runs.

Uploads count against your monthly upload limit. The progress bar in the dashboard shows how much of your allowance you have used.

Step 2 - Review the player defaults

Once processing is complete, open the video. The player panel on the right lets you adjust colour, autoplay, loop, and download settings. The defaults are sensible for most use cases. You do not need to change anything to get a working embed.

Step 3 - Copy the embed snippet

Click Copy embed to get the snippet. It looks like this:

<script src="https://simplevideo.eu/embed.js" data-id="your-video-id" async></script>

Paste it into the page where you want the video to appear. The player loads asynchronously and does not block your page.

What happens next

The video starts playing for your visitors immediately. Usage, including streaming minutes and storage, is tracked in the dashboard and updates throughout the month.
