Open the Sharing tab
Open the video you want to send and go to the Sharing tab. By default, videos are not publicly available as standalone pages. They are only available through the embed on your website.
Switch sharing on to create a private link.
Copy the private link
Anyone with the link can watch the video, and they do not need a SimpleVideo account. Copy the link and send it by email, chat, or any internal tool you use with customers, clients, or colleagues.
Use this when you want quick feedback, a client preview, or an easy way to share a video before it is ready for your website.
Customise the sharing page
The sharing page can use its own title, description, and colours. Add extra context when you are sending a video to a customer or client, or match the page to your brand colour.
SimpleVideo can show the video description automatically. You can also turn that off or override the title and text for the public page.
Preview your changes
Open the private link to preview the page. When you change the title, description, or colours in SimpleVideo and refresh the sharing page, the updates appear there automatically.
That gives you a lightweight way to share a video with anyone, without building a full web page around it.
