Checking your usage
Open Settings -> Billing in the dashboard. The usage cards at the top show your current upload, streaming, and storage consumption against the limits for your plan. Each resets at the start of your billing period except storage, which accumulates until you delete videos.
What happens when a limit is reached
SimpleVideo uses hard caps. There is no metered overage.
- Upload cap - new uploads are rejected until the billing period resets or you upgrade. Existing videos continue to play normally.
- Streaming cap - any video currently playing finishes. New playback attempts return a limit-reached message until reset or upgrade.
- Storage cap - new uploads are rejected. Existing videos continue to play normally.
Upgrading your plan
In Settings -> Billing, select a new plan from the plan list and click Upgrade now. Upgrades take effect immediately and the new limits are available straight away.
Scheduling a downgrade
Select a lower plan and click Schedule change. The change takes effect at the end of your current billing period so you keep access to your current limits until then.
Cancelling a pending change
If you have a plan change scheduled and want to reverse it, click Cancel pending change. Your plan stays as it is for the next billing period.
